Attorney Bio

Andrea founded Hable Law in early 2009 with the objective of building a practice around estate planning, and helping her clients feel comfortable and educated throughout the process.

Andrea graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2008.  She focused on estate planning, including many tax, real estate, and business law classes.  Andrea served as an Editor on the William Mitchell Law Review, participated in the Tax Planning Clinic representing nonprofit organizations, and won an award in Administrative Law.  She also worked as a research assistant in the area of real estate law, and as a paralegal and law clerk at a local general practice firm.

In addition to founding Hable Law, since graduating from law school Andrea worked part time as an Attorney Editor at the Minnesota State Bar Association from 2009 to 2012, supporting local attorneys in a variety of ways: drafting and editing shared legal documents at practicelaw.org, meeting with groups of solo and small firm attorneys, working with new lawyers starting up solo practices, and even blogging about the profession, practice, and technology. Andrea is also the lead editor of Minnesota Legal Ethics by William Wernz, one of the country’s foremost legal ethics attorneys.

Before law school, Andrea graduated from Hopkins High School then studied English and music at Kenyon College in Ohio. After college, Andrea worked as a corporate paralegal at a company with a heavy emphasis in customer service, which has carried over into her practice.
